New GPEB Guidlines
The Administrator for the Capital Region Charitable Gaming Association (aka: “Charityworks”) recently attended the BC Association for Charitable Gaming Symposium in Vancouver, where recent guideline changes were highlighted.
If you have not yet had a chance, please familiarize yourself with the recent changes (from June 2014) here. (Please click on “Community Gaming Grants – Guidelines” to open the document.)
The biggest change highlighted was that as of February 1, 2015, all applications will have to be done online. Please note that you will not be able to save as you go, so give yourself plenty of time to fill out the entire application and have your supporting documents ready to attach.
As an additional note, it was brought up that certain web browsers work better with the GPEB website. Those using PCs are in luck, as they are more compatible. If you use a Mac, use Firefox as the Safari browser has proved troublesome.
A reminder that the application period for Human and Social Services is currently open, and closes on November 30. Should you need assistance with your application, please contact Charityworks!
